In response to the needs of its constituents, Dancers' Group has evolved to fulfill a dual function as a service organization and as a presenter of performance opportunities that maximize the visibility of dance in the bay area.
Liss Fain Dance is a San Francisco based dance company whose work expresses the unpredictable course of events that comprise one’s life. Liss Fain’s highly physical, emotionally resonant choreography fuses modern dance’s forceful energy with the kinetic precision of ballet. Since 2010, LFD has focused on the creation of evening-length installation works that bring together dance, music, literature, and unique visual environments.
RAWdance is an award-winning contemporary dance company known for transforming theaters and public spaces through a mix of performance, curation, and collaboration. Under the artistic direction of Ryan T. Smith, Wendy Rein, and Katerina Wong, the company’s nuanced, charged dances pose questions ranging from the broadly social to the intimately personal. Garrett + Moulton Productions is a San Francisco based performing arts organization that combines movement, music and visuals into compelling and thought-provoking works of dance theater co-directed by award-winning choreographers Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton. Founded in 1995 in San Francisco, the internationally celebrated dance company Robert Moses’ KIN uses movement as the medium through which race, class, culture, and gender are used to voice the existence of our greater potential and unfulfilled possibilities.
The diverse company is known for its eclectic movement vocabulary, demanding choreography, ferocious dancing, and provocative themes.
