Communityboards offers a range of affordable conflict resolution programs and services to residents, businesses, schools and communities throughout San Francisco. Founded in 1976, Communityboards is the oldest public conflict resolution center in the United States.  Our services include mediation, conflict coaching, and facilitation.  Mediations are provided citywide in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese – Mondays through Saturdays.  We maintain a pool of 450+ volunteer Community Mediators.  We provide an array of year-round introductory and advanced conflict resolution trainings.

DreamSF is a coordinated response to ensure that San Francisco’s potentially eligible applicants for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process announced by the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on June 15, 2012, are engaged, well-informed with accurate information, and have access to culturally and linguistically competent legal and immigration assistance.

For each of the last 28 years, the CCLB has hired more than 200 at-risk youth, ages 18-25 from areas served by the Greater Long Beach Workforce Development Board and Gateway Cities Council of Governments to work on projects developed by the CCLB. Projects benefit local cities, county agencies, business and other nonprofit agencies. Training program participants known as Corpsmembers are employed by the CCLB and trained to carry out specific job duties paired with a variety of projects including recycling, park restoration, drought tolerant plant installation and steam cleaning 

The CCLB offers a safe, enriching, and fun after school program at Dooley Elementary and Perry Lindsey Academy serving 260 students a day. These first to eights graders participate in three hours of structured academic improvement, enrichment and recreation five days a week, via a partnership with the Long Beach Unified School District’s Winners Reaching Amazing Potential (WRAP) program. The Conservation Corps of Long Beach is proud to help Long Beach’s youth reach their fullest potential.
